Cereal & Chill - Anniversary Party Recap

It’s already been an incredible year since Cereal & Chill has been in business and if you guys remember one of the main things I saw potential in was to get the most out of the store and on my first visit we discussed the idea of revamping the interior of the store to give it an almost diner type of feel. New velour-like benches with the logo embedded not only achieved the desired look but also enabled my clients to utilize the floor space more and with that increase the capacity of customers in the store at one time. Another incentive was for my client to become a household name and I can confirm that in just a year, Cereal & Chill has undeniably achieved that goal and also has become somewhat of a landmark within the city of Amsterdam. A lot of cool campaigns and joint efforts with other brands and restaurants in the Netherlands certainly boosted the reach of the brand and intrigued new people to become regular visitors/customers.

A whole bunch of new and rare cereals were made available, as well as the introduction of a completely new menu which includes Toasties, Hot Dogs, and the incredible “Cereal” Waffles.

With all that said it was inevitable that the anniversary party would have to be one to remember and you can bet that it was nothing short of that. The team managed to book Melkweg (one of the most iconic venues in the city) and the idea was to create a 90’s vibe feel which included consoles and games from that era, arcade games, cotton candy, popcorn machines and of course a stand serving Cereal (Duh!). Live performances from some of the city’s most promising talent and an outfit contest to see who could embody that old school 90’s theme the most, was all part of what made this a ‘must-attend’ event.

I made sure to fly out to show support and even be a part of the final brainstorming session days before the big night. I think it goes without saying that the event was a big success.
I’m undoubtedly excited for even bigger and better in the future and truly enjoyed this visit.

Well done and congrats to the whole team as well as a big thanks for the hospitality shown as usual.
